Visiting “Isoberousoku” with our customers

There is an organization called “Okazaki takuminokai (Okazaki Artisan’sSociety)”.

Their aim is to pass on their art and to produce new products using their techniques.
In April, we visited one of the members “Isoberousoku (Isobe candle company)” with our guests from Tokyo. Isoberousoku has been producing Japanese candles for more than 300 years.
Their candles are created using natural haze wax tree that only grows in Japan. All process takes place by handwork and it takes long years to master the technique.
