We had a Visitor from Belgium!

On this day, we visited mountainous area in Okazaki before the tea ceremony and joined the mountain herb tempura party held at one of my friends’ house for lunch.  All the herbs were so delicious!

In the afternoon, we went back to the Global studies Café for the kimono dressing appointment we had with our kimono teacher.  Our visitor looked very beautiful in salmon pink kimono. We walked together to the tea ceremony place and had the ceremony performed.

Our visitor tried 正座 (Seiza-sitting down on the tatami mat with legs folded underneath the thighs) and enjoyed matcha.
